B.A.S.S. Federation Nation to order at the Lamplighter Restaurant in
Clarksville, VA due to the fact the Chapter Team Tournament was to be fished
the weekend and most clubs were in Clarksville practicing. Jo Ann Holland reported in a bit late at 7:30PM, the Secretary and
Treasurer’s report of the March meeting was unanimously approved by members
present. A role call was taken for confirmation of attendance. Those present were: ü

Business: The State Website has posted a current calendar and benefits available
to all members. It can be located at the following web address: www.vafederationnation.com. Please check calendar before each event for
updates and/or changes. Our BASS Federation Nation quarterly magazine, Hook Set, is still in need of ads and sponsors. Contact Mike Bryant for prices and availability. At the last State meeting it was voted on and changed to reflect to allow 2 teams to go to Mr. BASS and 15 teams to the Fall Classic beginning with the Fall Classic in 2009. The By-Laws will be changed in 2010. A reminder to all Clubs, you MUST have a minimum participation of
at least 5 Region Tournaments (any combination) to qualify for the State events
as well as at least one person from your club to assist with Youth Day. Youth
Day will be held on June 6th at King’s Grant pond in Martinsville, VA, from
8:00 – 1:00. Boat Captains are still needed for the Youth events as follows:
A State Open His and Hers Fundraiser will be held on 6/20/2009 at Buggs Island – flyer attached. New Business: A working meeting will be held at Mike Bryant’s shop in Collinsville on
June 2nd beginning at 6PM to ready the rods, reels and goody bags
for Youth Day. If your club is having a Tournament and your club would like for it to
be posted on the web, send it to Mike and he will see that is posted. A motion was made by County Boys and seconded by Max 10 and passed at 100% by members present for the Region to pay the $144 a year for the Region Web Site to remain in lieu of selling ads to pay for the site. Youth Report: No report The next State board meeting will be held 06/20/2009 at the
ramp following the His and Hers Tournament in June. The next Region meeting will be at the Ryan’s in
